Mark Preddy is an award-winning career professional with more than 25 years of real estate and new homes experience, including positions as broker-in-charge for a large residential real estate firm and manager of a top-producing real estate team. Prior to his real estate career, he worked in the insurance industry as a personal lines underwriter, office manager, supervisor and instructor, with extensive training in Risk Management .

An active and engaged industry professional, Preddy is a past associate vice president of the Franklin County Homebuilders Association, currently an Affiliate Member of The Home Builders Association of Raleigh-Wake County, is a member of the North Carolina Home Builders Association and a member of the National Association of Home Builders. Additionally, he is a member of the Raleigh Regional Association of Realtors®, the North Carolina Association of Realtors, and National Association of Realtors. He holds designations as a North Carolina Real Estate Broker and Broker-in-Charge, also the CPCU Designation and is a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter.

Mark is a member of the Franklinton Masonic Lodge #123, a past member and officer of the Franklinton Fire Department, past vice president of the Franklinton Lions Club, past vice president of the Franklinton Chamber of Commerce, and past president of the Franklinton Recreation Park, Inc.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Multi-Disciplinary Studies from North Carolina State University, and is a member of the school’s Wolfpack Club.
